Packaging Design That’s Ahead of the Curve
Prominent manufacturer Parker-Hannifin Corporation needed an exciting packaging solution for its TekStak™ Educational Fuel Cell Kit, a high-use, low-power teaching aid. But finding a one-size-fits-all answer for the kits’ multiple versions (1, 5 and 10 staks) and its assembled or unassembled shipping and storage configurations was no simple task.
ROBRADY’s elegant answer was a base design for the box that could be easily and economically customized with a coordinating decal system and function as a toolbox to accommodate the various degrees of assembly.
In addition to generating the product logo, icon, typography and supplemental imagery for the kits’ instruction manual and CD/DVD cover, the ROBRADY graphics team leveraged its internal ideation capabilities to generate the TekStak name. ROBRADY provided Parker with five complete production-simulated prototypes, complete with vacuum-formed interiors and full mock-up instructional materials- for the product's successful international launch in Germany.
