Industrial Design

Providing fantastic products to fantastic companies worldwide

Successful industrial design is the nexus of art and science, combining engineering with emotional response, manufacturing with marketing and form with function. The power of industrial design is the ability to humanize product design and breathe life into brilliant concepts.

Product and Market Research

We conduct product and market research with a designer’s eye, thinking comparatively and competitively to find the best solution. Sometimes a solution comes from efforts in a different market or projects in another industry. At ROBRADY, our unique collaborative, multi-disciplined culture allows us to “cross-pollinate” and search to solutions wherever they may be. Learn More >

Concept Development

Based on your product's needs and attributes, we create concepts imagery ranging from "mild to wild". This broad array of options ensures our clients have the best solutions to choose from. First pass of this visualization is typically sketches or rough 3D models. Learn More >

Product Design

Whether your product will be part of an existing brand or pioneer a new one, it must meet technical requirements as well be an aesthetically pleasing, ergonomically functional solution. Surface forms, colors, textures, human factors and manufacturing needs are explored in the design of your product. Learn More >

Photoreal Rendering

Visual communication goes a long way to establish belief in your concept. Early-stage photoreal imagery has many benefits such as quick marketing or internal feedback based on a clear understanding of the design and the ability to see the offering before substantial resources, and capital, have been committed. A high-end render engine combined with our render farm makes this service is an increasingly economical option. Learn More >

Ergonomic Design

Whether handled in the factory or the showroom, your product needs to be humanized at an early stage. By analyzing the ergonomics of competitive and comparable products, we can validate your branded solution. Early ergonomics checks are done through clay modeling or various rapid CNC prototyping methods - enabling fast and iterative updates. Learn More >

Concept Modeling

Concept models are invaluable in the product design process for verifying ergonomics, size or appearance. Based on your needs, schedule and budget, models can be rough foam or clay or extensive prototypes indistinguishable from the end product.

For transportation products, clay models are extremely valuable for evaluating surface forms and real world transitions. Shapes and forms can change drastically from a sketch or computer model to physical mass. Clay models can be quickly manipulated for fine-tuning, then scanned back into the virtual workspace.

Concept models from 3D CAD programs allow us to quickly work around mechanical space-claims. Renderings and physical prototypes can be created via 3D printer or 5 Axis CNC mills throughout the design process. Learn More >

Rapid Prototyping

Concept functionality checks are often necessary at multiple points of the design process. "Proof of concept" models provide early stage validation. Realistic production intent prototypes can prove a design or identify problem areas before committing to tooling. With our comprehensive CNC facilities, these prototypes can be created out of the exact production materials, making them perfect for field-testing, market feedback and advanced sales efforts.
