Describe how you first discovered design
That’s a great question! To be honest, ever since I was a child I’ve been attracted to the arts—I was constantly drawing, painting, listening to music, making clothes for my dolls and all this fun stuff. And you may say every child does this, but the difference for me was that the “fun stuff” never ended. My parents were very artsy people: my dad painted and played guitar, so I grew up having him as a mentor and inspiration; my mom always designed her own clothes and sewed things we needed, so I get my love for fashion from her. We were always surrounded by art, literature, music, paintings, and beauty.
Then, when I first saw a computer, everything changed! I can barely remember, but when I was around 10 or 11 my brother (who was 11 years older than me and already a computer science genius, haha!) used to take me to work with him and let me play with the computers. A couple of years later he purchased a PC for the home and taught me the first things about HTML, CSS, and Photoshop. In that moment I knew my love for art and my love for computers would somehow collide into one thing. That was the moment when I first stepped into the design and digital art world.
